Coast Up Partner Referral Program Terms

Version 2026-08-25Effective: August 25, 2026Last Updated: August 25, 2026These Partner Referral Program Terms apply to every Coast Up partner — free referral partners and partners who purchase client credits. They are in addition to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply when a business or professional joins the Coast Up Partner Program, participates in Coast Up partner rewards, purchases client credits, or uses Coast Up partner marketing materials.

New referral partners must accept these terms before Coast Up activates their partner account and referral link.

Partners who received a referral link before the current Partner Terms took effect may continue to use that existing link. However, acceptance of the current Partner Terms is required before participating in the complimentary client credit reward or using current Partner Marketing Kit features.

These Partner Terms do not apply to customers who simply receive or use a Coast Up referral link.

You must be at least 18 years old. If you participate on behalf of a business, you must have authority to participate for that business.

2. Referral links

Your referral link is free and unique to your partner account. It is intended to remain active without requiring a purchase, unless it is suspended or deactivated under these Terms.

Customers who use your referral link purchase Coast Up themselves at the normal customer price. Your referral link never changes the customer’s price.

Referral tracking uses only a random first-party visitor identifier and your referral code, stored for a limited attribution window. Coast Up does not provide partners with a customer’s identity, email address, connected mailbox content, addresses, moving details, or results.

3. Client credits

Client credits are purchased in bulk, with a minimum of 5 credits per order. Purchased credits do not expire. There is no subscription.

A gift link created from a credit expires 90 days after it is created if the customer has not redeemed it. When a gift link expires unused, the credit returns to your available balance. An unredeemed gift link can be revoked by you at any time. Once a customer has redeemed a gift link, that redeemed Coast Up cannot be revoked, withdrawn, or reassigned.

Refunds for purchased credits are governed by the Refund Policy.

4. One-time introductory complimentary client credit

As an introductory incentive, a partner may receive one complimentary client credit, one time only, after 3 different customers have purchased Coast Up through that partner’s referral link.

  • Qualification counts 3 distinct paying customers, not 3 purchases by the same customer.
  • A partner’s own purchases, and purchases made with the partner’s own account or email address, never count.
  • Sponsored Coast Ups paid for with partner credits do not count. Only customer purchases made directly through your referral link count.
  • A purchase that is refunded, or that is subject to an open or lost payment dispute, does not count. If a qualifying purchase later stops qualifying, an unredeemed complimentary credit may be revoked; a complimentary credit a customer has already redeemed is never withdrawn from that customer.
  • Acceptance of the current Partner Terms is required before this credit is awarded.
  • The complimentary credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred to another partner, resold, exchanged for cash or a gift card, or refunded. It may be used only to sponsor one Coast Up customer through the Coast Up partner system.

Coast Up may change or end this introductory incentive for future partners at any time. Any credit already awarded and redeemed by a customer is unaffected.

5. Required disclosure

Because you may receive a complimentary client credit, you must disclose that possibility whenever you promote your referral link. Coast Up includes the required disclosure text in every Partner Marketing Kit template, and you must keep it in any material you publish or send.

Coast Up also shows referred customers a plain-language disclosure on Coast Up itself, including that their price is the same either way.

6. How you may market Coast Up

You may share your referral link in customer emails, texts, your website, printed material, newsletters and social posts. You must not:

  • present Coast Up as your own product, or imply that Coast Up endorses you
  • state or imply that Coast Up forwards mail, submits address changes for the customer, or guarantees that every organization will be found
  • use a business name, logo or credentials you are not authorized to use, or claim an affiliation you do not have
  • sell, resell, auction, exchange, or charge a customer for a Coast Up gift link or complimentary client credit
  • send unsolicited bulk email or text messages, or otherwise market Coast Up in a way that violates applicable law, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA requirements
  • use paid search, ads or lookalike domains that trade on the Coast Up name, or bid on Coast Up branded terms
  • create multiple partner accounts, self-refer, or otherwise attempt to manufacture qualifying purchases

7. Partner materials, marks and marketing license

7.1 License grant. Coast Up grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use Coast Up-approved Partner Marketing Kit materials and Coast Up marks solely to promote or refer customers to Coast Up while you remain an authorized Coast Up partner and comply with these Partner Terms. This permission is a license only; it does not transfer ownership of any Coast Up intellectual property to you.

7.2 Permitted use. You may share approved Coast Up marketing materials with prospective Coast Up customers through normal promotional channels, including social media, email, SMS, websites, printed materials, QR codes, and direct communication, subject to these Partner Terms. You may add reasonable partner-specific introductory language that does not change the substantive meaning of the materials or remove Coast Up branding.

7.3 No removal or alteration of Coast Up branding. You may not remove, conceal, obscure, crop out, replace, alter, or otherwise interfere with Coast Up names, logos, trademarks, wordmarks, watermarks, attribution, required disclosures, or other Coast Up branding included in approved Partner Marketing Kit materials. Reasonable personalization is permitted only to the extent it does not remove Coast Up's identity or materially change the meaning of the marketing material. You may not alter Coast Up materials in a way that causes a customer to believe that you created, own, operate, or independently provide Coast Up.

7.4 No transfer, resale, or redistribution. Partner Marketing Kit materials may not be sold, resold, licensed, sublicensed, assigned, transferred, white-labeled, offered as your own marketing templates, packaged into another product or service for resale, distributed independently as downloadable templates or assets, or provided to third parties for use unrelated to promoting Coast Up.

7.5 No copying or reverse engineering. Your access to the Partner Program, Partner Dashboard, Partner Marketing Kit, referral system, gifting system, or other Coast Up functionality does not authorize you to copy or recreate Coast Up's proprietary technology or materials. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may not use your access to Coast Up to copy or reproduce proprietary Coast Up software; reverse engineer proprietary Coast Up software or nonpublic functionality; decompile or attempt to derive source code; circumvent technical safeguards; scrape or systematically extract nonpublic platform information; reproduce the Partner Dashboard or Partner Marketing Kit for use as a competing or independent product; copy proprietary workflows, nonpublic interfaces, internal logic, or other protected Coast Up materials; create derivative materials based substantially on proprietary Coast Up marketing assets for use outside the Coast Up Partner Referral Program; or use nonpublic information obtained through authorized partner access to create or assist in creating a competing copy of Coast Up. Nothing in these terms restricts general ideas, facts, lawful concepts, or other matter that cannot legally be protected.

7.6 No misrepresentation or white-labeling. You may not present Coast Up as a service created or operated by you, rename Coast Up as your own service, white-label Coast Up unless Coast Up separately authorizes this in a written agreement, claim ownership of Coast Up technology or materials, create a confusingly similar representation of the Coast Up brand, state or imply that Coast Up has endorsed, certified, sponsored, or formally affiliated itself with you beyond the actual Coast Up Partner Referral Program relationship, or make claims about Coast Up functionality that Coast Up has not authorized. You may accurately describe yourself as a Coast Up Partner while your partnership remains active.

7.7 False or misleading claims. You may not make false or misleading claims about Coast Up. You may not modify approved Coast Up marketing materials in a way that changes the substantive meaning, overstates Coast Up functionality, creates guarantees Coast Up does not make, suggests Coast Up automatically changes customer addresses, suggests Coast Up accesses customer information that it does not access, suggests Coast Up is affiliated with USPS, government agencies, financial institutions, email providers, or other third parties unless expressly stated by Coast Up, or misrepresents pricing, scans, access periods, credits, rewards, privacy, or other Coast Up terms.

7.8 Termination of marketing license. Your permission to use Coast Up names, marks, logos, Partner Marketing Kit materials, and other licensed promotional assets automatically ends upon termination of the Partner relationship, suspension from the Partner Referral Program where Coast Up revokes marketing permission, your withdrawal from the Partner Referral Program, or any other termination of authorization under these Partner Terms. After the license ends, you must immediately stop creating or publishing new Coast Up promotional content, stop representing yourself as an active Coast Up Partner, stop using Coast Up marks and Partner Marketing Kit materials, remove Coast Up materials from channels under your control where continued display would imply an active partnership, and stop using Coast Up referral or gifting materials except as otherwise expressly permitted by Coast Up in writing. Termination does not transfer ownership of any Coast Up intellectual property to you.

7.9 Ownership. Coast Up retains all right, title, and interest in and to its name, logos, wordmarks, trademarks, website content, software, Partner Dashboard, Partner Marketing Kit, graphics, copy, templates, proprietary platform functionality, and other Coast Up-created materials. Nothing in these Partner Terms transfers ownership of any Coast Up intellectual property to you.

8. Customer information is not shared with partners

Coast Up does not disclose a customer's connected mailbox content, previous or new address, moving date, findings, or results to a partner. A partner never receives a customer’s email address, connected mailbox content, previous or new address, moving date, findings or results — including for Coast Ups the partner paid for. For gift links you created, you see only whether a credit is unused, sent, redeemed or revoked.

9. Independent relationship

You are an independent business. These terms do not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise or joint-venture relationship, and neither party may bind the other. You are responsible for your own taxes and for any statements you make about Coast Up.

If you are subject to employer, brokerage, licensing, advertising, or professional rules, you are responsible for obtaining any required approvals and complying with those requirements before promoting Coast Up.

10. Suspension and termination

Either party may end the partner relationship at any time. Coast Up may deactivate a referral link, withhold or revoke an unredeemed complimentary credit, or close a partner account for suspected fraud, self-referral, misrepresentation, prohibited marketing, or violation of these terms. Customers keep any Coast Up they already redeemed.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The Partner Referral Program is provided as is. Coast Up makes no promise about referral volume, conversion rates or revenue. Coast Up’s total liability to a partner related to the Partner Referral Program is limited to the amount that partner paid Coast Up in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

Coast Up may update these Partner Terms prospectively. The current version is shown at the top of this page.

If Coast Up makes a material update, Coast Up may require partners to affirmatively accept the updated Partner Terms before using new partner reward or Marketing Kit features. Previously redeemed customer benefits remain unaffected.
